About Ad Libitum Tempranillo Blanco

Ad Libitum Tempranillo Blanco is a white wine produced in Rioja by the Juan Carlos Sacha winery in Baños del Rio Tobia, La Rioja.

Juan Carlos Sacha is the person at the helm of the project, with 5.5 hectares of organically cultivated vineyards in the Najerilla valley, La Rioja Alta. He has been one of the driving forces behind rescuing the area’s old varieties and going back to growing wines like this Tempranillo Blanco.

The Tempranillo Blanco vineyard is 20 years old and planted on clay-lime soils. It is harvested manually into boxes and destemmed. It ferments with native yeast in stainless steel tanks at 18 ° C, where it breeds on lees for 7 months.
