Who ever proclaimed that rosés are merely for the summertime? We're well aware that balmy weather is just around the corner. Yet as the mercury rises and the days of sunshine gear up, consider rounding off some of your more mundane evenings with Barahonda Rosado .
 
Straight from the esteemed D.O. Yecla in Murcia, comes this vibrant and invigorating rosé that promises to leave an impression. The cellars of Barahonda have years of experience in crafting wines from this region. The current generation, embodied by Antonio and Alfredo Candela, strives to uphold the standards and quality that have carried their legacy through time. Since its inception, the Candela family has been committed to extracting the quintessence of this land nestled between the Plateau and the Mediterranean. Here, at altitudes ranging from 535 to 800 meters, the vines thrive in limestone and sandy soils, rich in carbonate and low in matter. However, this area is particularly distinguished by the monastrell grape, an indigenous variety that reaches its full potential here. In general, this is a grape that flourishes under the sun, thus the continental climate—with approximately 3,385 hours of sunshine per year—is superbly suited to it.
 
Furthermore, Barahonda Rosado is not only notable for its cultivation but also for its high-quality production process. All clusters of Barahonda Rosado are transported to the newly constructed winery, where the entire process is conducted with modern equipment and facilities. Yet, do not be misled by the youthfulness of Barahonda Rosado , for despite its lack of aging, the highest standards of quality have been maintained throughout its production.
