Brandy Rey Luis Felipe Gran Reserva is a limited edition brandy the color of old gold with brownish hues, featuring a highly expressive nose with oak aromas and notes that are reminiscent of its long aging. On the palate, it has a hint of sweetness accompanied by woody and spicy nuances, rounded out by an intense and complex finish. A round and balanced brandy of extraordinary elegance and smoothness.

About Brandy Rey Luis Felipe Gran Reserva 70cl

Brandy Rey Luis Felipe Gran Reserva is the result of a chance discovery. As the story goes, this treasure was found by one of the winemakers at the Bodegas Rubio winery in 1893, when he discovered several old oak barrels marked with the name “Louis Philippe”, that is, they had been reserved exclusively for Antoine of Orléans, Duke of Montpensier and son of King Louis Philippe I of France. It was released that very same year, and was so successful that it became a limited edition premium brandy.

Created in the town of La Palma del Condado, in Huelva (Spain), it is a brandy that respects the ancient traditions of vine cultivation and production and whose aging takes a minimum of 60 years, using the famous system of soleras and criaderas (fractional blending) in American oak barrels. The result is an exceptionally smooth, complex and elegant brandy that is worthy of royalty.
