About Celler Sanromà Rush Vi

A powerful song. An unexpected anthem. When Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballé joined forces at the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona, rock and opera converged to make history. Two distinct worlds, one shared emotion.

Something similar happens with Rush Vi, the collaboration between two winemakers and friends: Edu Sanromà and Esteve Gibert. Each with their own style, experience, and vineyard... yet sharing a common melody: to bottle landscape and emotion.

Rush Vi? We could translate it as wine rush, wine that shakes you, or wine for intense and memorable moments. What is certain is that it does not go unnoticed.

Rush Vi is a natural orange wine, crafted with macabeo from Vilarodona and xarel·lo from Penedès (Catalonia). They are co-fermented, with 9 days of skin contact, seeking texture, character, and authenticity.

Everything originates at Celler Sanromà, a winery that emerged after four generations of grape growers dedicated to selling bulk grapes. When Edu completed his studies in oenology, the family took a further step and decided to transform their own grapes into wine, with a clear vision: to bottle a landscape.

This is Rush Vi; an unexpected, sincere collaboration with a strong personality. A wine with the vibrant fruit of the macabeo, the vertical freshness of the xarel·lo, and that kind of magic that only occurs when two distinct voices unite to create something that resonates, that moves.

On the palate, this orange wine is fresh and juicy, highlighting the presence of grape skin, which adds texture and character.
