Malt flavours and touches of smoked woods are prominent on the palate. A medium-long and balanced finish, with a malt, lightly sweet and smoked note.

About Cragganmore 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Cragganmore Single Malt is the most complex malt whisky of Speyside. The whisky is supplied in limited quantities, since Cragganmore is one of the smallest distilleries in Speyside. It is now open seven days a week to keep up with the high demand in whisky. The copper stills give complexity to the Cragganmore.
Located near Speyside's main railway station near the river Spey, the Cragganmore distillery was founded in 1896 by John Smith, who already owned the Ballindalloch and Glenfarclas distilleries and managed the Macallan and Glenlivet distilleries. Cragganmore was largely rebuilt in 1901 by Gordon Smith, John Smith's son, with the help of distillery designer Charles Doig.
