What if whisky didn't have to come from afar to astonish you? Sometimes, what you seek is closer than you imagine; it just requires a different perspective... or rather, to be tasted without prejudice.
 
In Segovia, Spain, amidst mountains and water born from the melting snow, over half a century ago, Nicomedes García's intuition took shape: to prove that a great whisky could also be made in Spain. Thus, DYC was born, in an old mill by the river Eresma, where the climate, altitude, and local raw materials aligned to form a project that has grown without losing its essence. Here, everything happens in-house: from malting to distillation, in a continuous process that breathes coherence and origin.
 
DYC 5 Años is built on that solid foundation, with a double distillation and maturation in American oak barrels that impart uncomplicated character. It is a whisky that naturally balances, where fruity notes emerge, a slightly spiced undertone, and a warmth that feels familiar from the first moment. Its texture is straightforward, unpretentious, designed to be enjoyed naturally, always maintaining its identity.
 
DYC 5 Años is one of those whiskies that doesn't require ceremony, but rather context: a conversation among friends, a plan that extends, or that moment when the day winds down and calls for something simple yet with character, working equally well on its own or in cocktails, always with that ease that makes it approachable.
