About Equipo Navazos La Bota 125 de Amontillado Viejísimo “Bota NO”

Tanto monta, monta tanto… Jesús Barquín and Eduardo Ojeda continue to astonish with their releases. Nearly a decade has passed (time flies!) since this unique duo first amazed us with their own wines, as well as the hidden gems they discovered tucked away in various Andalusian wineries. Every day of activity is an achievement, and that calls for celebration! With such a festive spirit comes Equipo Navazos La Bota 125 de Amontillado Viejísimo "Bota NO", a fortified wine of "exceptional" intensity and complexity. 
 
Directly from La Bota de Amontillado Viejísimo 73 "Bota Aniversario" (released in 2017) and La Bota 26 de Amontillado "Cinco años después…" (bottled in 2010) comes this amontillado, which Equipo Navazos has been fortunate enough to access once again. This has been made possible by the generosity of the Pérez Barquero family, owners of the winery where Equipo Navazos La Bota 125 de Amontillado Viejísimo "Bota NO" has been resting for ages. Specifically, this fortified wine, whose average age is impossible to guess, originates from a special cask of the original soleras, which has been kept in this winery of the D.O. Montilla-Moriles for many years. 
 
Undoubtedly a luxury - in 2023, only 1300 bottles were released - demonstrating that the journey and successes would not be the same without the support and presence of friends.
