About Azpilicueta Colección Privada

Azpilicueta Colección Privada is a wine from the appellation of origin (D.O) Rioja produced by the winery Azpilicueta. This winery forms part of the group Pernod Ricard and is located in Logroño, La Rioja.

Azpilicueta Colección Privada is produced from the varieties Tempranillo, Graciano and Mazuelo.

For its production, firstly the grapes are destemmed and pressed. The must is then fermented at a controlled temperature of 25ºC with a maceration process of 15 days.

Once the winemaking process is finalised Azpilicueta Colección Privada is aged for 12 months in new French oak barrels.

2019

Félix Azpilicueta Colección Privada 2019 is a very smooth and elegant red wine. Intense cherry red in colour, it has a very perfumed nose with an abundance of red fruit, mineral notes, wood and spices. The palate is powerful and fresh, also very rich and varied, with flavours of blueberry, cocoa, coffee and smoke.
2009 Very pleasant and fresh. Passing is enveloping and smooth. It leaves sensations of mature red fruit and toasted tones. A persistent finish.

Intense and deep red cherry colour.

Aromas of red fruit with an abundance of toasted, mineral and spicy notes.
