Smooth and elegant, passing is fine, somewhat dry and flavoursome and sweet. Flavours of dry fruits. Long and persistent finish.

Bright mahogany colour.

About Fernando de Castilla Classic Oloroso

Fernando de Castilla Classic Oloroso is a fortified wine produced by the Rey Fernando de Castilla winery in the D.O. Jerez.

The winery is located in the centre of Jerez de la Frontera (Cádiz). It is a vintage winery and in the last few years, it has started producing young fortified wines – the Classic range – and old wines from the winery’s very old vintages - the Antique range.

In this case, we have a sherry from the Classic range. It is made with the Palomino Fino grape, which is extracted at 18ºC for the wine to begin slowly oxidising due to the air, then it enters the criaderas and soleras system where it is aged for a few years.

Fernando de Castilla Classic Oloroso is a young sherry in which sweet and dried fruit aromas predominate due to its young age.
