Giuseppe Mascarello Langhe Freisa Toetto is a monovarietal Freisa red wine from the D.O.C Lange produced by Giuseppe Mascarello e Figlio.

Giuseppe Mascarello e Figlio is a small family winery in Piedmont founded in 1881. It is considered one of the finest producers of Barolo and one of the best producers in the world. The winery vinifies in cement tanks coated with epoxy resin and in stainless steel tanks, and ages its wines in Slavonian oak foudres to ensure that the grape and its terroir are fully expressed.

Giuseppe Mascarello Langhe Freisa Toetto comes from a single vineyard called Toetto. It is made according to the traditional methodology, and, once vinified in cement or stainless tanks, part of the wine is aged in Slavonian oak foudres.

Giuseppe Mascarello Langhe Freisa Toetto is a graceful, complex wine with aromas of red and black fruit, flowers, and a smooth and structured mouthfeel.
2015 Giuseppe Mascarello Langhe Freisa Toetto 2015 is a wine with mainly fruity aromas, characterised by hints of cherry, blackberries and currants, all accompanied by elegant spicy notes. On the palate it has a good body, with a structure of energetic tannins but a smooth texture and good depth.
