About Glenfarclas Family Malt Collection

Malt whisky aged in barrels from Jerez, produced by Glenfarclas, one of the few family distilleries left in the world. More than 175 years of devotion and effort in the industry allowed them to produce Glenfarclas, and exemplary whiskey of an extremely high quality. The secret of its magnificent flavour is only known by the owners of the distillery. Some say that is due to the water of the Glen valley (Scotland), others state that it is because of the malted barley…Taste it and check it by yourself. Its flavour will not disappoint anyone.
1992 Soft and fresh. Malty flavour, and a good presence of notes of peat emerge along with a touch of vanilla, butter and fruits (pear). Dry mid palate. Firm and round body. Smooth and very long finish.

Pale amber colour.

Fruity and aromatic, with light floral notes, citrus (orange), spicy (ginger, vanilla,...) and honeyed hints on a smooth wooden background.
