Very nice and intense. Aromatic complexity: fruit, spices (cinnamon, ginger), Sherry wine (provided by the barrels during the ageing), all of them sweet. Smooth and persistent finish.

Bright golden colour.

Elegant aromas of fruit along with hints of dry wood. Slightly sweet.

Behind its deep amber hue lies a maturation worthy of an adventure novel. Glenfiddich 18 Year Old rests patiently in two types of casks that have lived long before meeting this whisky: oak casks that once held Oloroso, brimming with sweet and spicy notes, and casks that previously housed Bourbon, renowned for imparting vanilla, caramel, and an irresistible smoothness. It is almost as if Glenfiddich has chosen two flavour masters to collaborate on a joint masterpiece.

The result is a whisky that combines strength and subtlety in a single breath. It is no coincidence that in 2007 it was awarded the Silver Medal at the International Wine & Spirit Competition.
