This blend of tempranillo and garnacha tinta arrives like a whirlwind. And we are certain you will find few wines with more self-assurance than Gran Feudo Casilla del Guapo. In the southwest of Navarra, within the denomination, lies the vineyard where this red wine originates, named after "El Guapo", the nickname of the guardian of this plot, which inspired its name. With Gran Feudo Casilla del Guapo, the Gran Feudo wineries embark on a new era, focusing on modernity without losing sight of tradition. One way or another—whether you like it or not—it's not easy to shake off 152 years of history. This time, which sums up to a century and a half, is deeply rooted in the flat, deep, loamy, and stony soils typical of this area of the Ebro Valley, between Aragón and La Rioja.  
 
The two varieties of Gran Feudo Casilla del Guapo are processed and fermented separately, with the temperature of the stainless steel tanks always controlled. After a second fermentation—this time malolactic—Gran Feudo Casilla del Guapo is transferred to French and American oak barrels where it will spend eight months ageing, completing its formation and development.
