About Luzón Blanco

Luzón Colección Blanco is a white wine from the D.O. Jumilla made by the Luzón winery. This wine is made with equal parts Macabeo and Airén.

After a closely monitored cultivation and harvesting, the Luzón Colección Blanco grapes are quickly taken to the winery.

In the winery, the harvested grapes are destemmed and lightly pressed. The resulting Luzón Colección Blanco must is racked and clarified.

Then follows the fermentation phase: this lasts about 20 days and takes place at a controlled temperature, which ranges between 10º and 16º, with the aim of preserving the fruit’s freshness at all times.

Luzón Colección Blanco is a young wine and is therefore bottled without resting.

The Luzón winery has 500 hectares of their own vineyards. It is one of the main wineries in the D.O. Jumilla.

2021
Luzón Colección Blanco 2021 exhibits a yellow hue, complemented by luminous greenish reflections. The bouquet reveals a blend of green apple intertwined with citrus and tropical notes. On the palate, it is velvety, underpinned by a robust acidity. Harmonious and delightful. The finish is notably lingering.
2017 Luzón Blanco 2017 is a young, light and pleasant white wine. This vintage is shy on the nose, with aromas of Mediterranean white fruit and floral notes. Easy to drink with a dry finish.
2015 Vibrant and fruity. Sweet with a superb acidity, it is lively and delightful.

Floral and herbaceous notes meld with hints of tropical fruits.
2014 Invigorating and zestful, with a broad palate and superb acidity. Lingering and exuberant on the finish.
