Maria Casanovas Glaç Brut Nature is a sparkling wine made by Maria Casanovas with the Macabeo, Parelada, Pinot Noir and Xarel·lo varieties in the D.O. Cava (Sant Sadurní d'Anoia).

Maria Casanovas is a small family winery that was set up in 1984 in Sant Jaume Sesoliveres, a town close to Sant Sadurní d'Anoia (Barcelona), the cava capital. Named after the family matriarch, her children have now put into practice the extensive winemaking knowledge they have acquired over time to create their own unique and different coupages.

Maria Casanovas Glaç Brut Nature comes from 9 hectares of the family’s vineyards that lie around the winery. They use traditional agriculture to cultivate D.O. Cava native varieties, which grow under the influence of a Mediterranean climate.

After carefully selecting the best grapes to make the Maria Casanovas Glaç Brut Nature, the must is fermented. This creates a base wine with the ideal qualities for a second fermentation in the bottle. It is racked for 18 months and then disgorged.

With a most original image, the Maria Casanovas Glaç Brut Nature cava is so fresh, fruity and pleasant that it has quickly gained international recognition.
