About Mastinell Brut Real Gran Reserva

Mastinell Brut Real Gran Reserva is a sparkling wine made by Mastinell in the D.O. Cava (Catalonia) with the native Macabeo, Xarel·lo and Parellada varieties.

The Heretat Mastinell winery was founded in 1980 by the Valderrama family and since the very beginning, they have been committed to quality and tradition. In 2013 they opened a 5 star hotel in a unique location to provide a special wine tourism experience.

Mastinell Brut Real Gran Reserva comes from selected vineyards of the D.O. Cava’s leading varieties; Macabeo, Xarel·lo and Parellada. They are cultivated using traditional agriculture and the harvest is carried out at the optimum point of ripeness.

Mastinell Brut Real Gran Reserva is made following the traditional method, with a minimum aging of 36 months in the bottle. Finally, after disgorging, the sugar content in the bottle is 8.5 gr/l.

Selected blind for the wedding reception of one of the members of the Spanish Royal Family, and the official cava of the Spanish Olympic Committee at the Beijing Olympics in 2008, Mastinell Brut Real Gran Reserva is confirmation of the power in simplicity.
