About Celler Pinol Raig De Raim

New vintage of Raig de Raïm belonging to the Designation of Origin Terra Alta. It is made by Celler Piñol, a family winery who grow their vineyards organically. Their painstaking work throughout the whole production process is reflected in this wine, which is also extremely good value.

Raig de Raïm is made from a blend of Garnacha Tinta, Cariñena, Merlot and Syrah. It is briefly aged for 4 months in French and American oak barrels.
A great everyday red wine.
2019

Raig de Raïm 2019 is an exquisite red wine. The nose is powerful, with aromas of red fruits and balsamic herbs over a background of oak. The palate is sweet and meaty, with fruit flavours, liquorice and a balsamic background.
2011 Smooth attack. Fresh and silky on the palate with good acidity. Medium-length finish leaving nice fruity notes. Honest and appetising, a very good red wine.

Picota cherry colour with violet reflections. Clean and bright. Medium-high robe.

Clean and well-defined, medium-intensity. Aromas of ripe red fruit, smoky and lightly toasted notes and floral touches make up a simple and very enjoyable nose.
2010 Wine from Terra Alta with a very good attack. Meaty and very tasty mid palate. The notes of ripe fruit come along with some spicy notes. Good acidity and well-integrated tannins. Good finish with a spicy aftertaste. A very rich and slightly sweet wine.

Intense cherry colour with violet trims. Bright wine with dense tears.

Intense and powerful aromas of ripe red and black fruit mixed with floral aromas (violet), spicy and smoky notes, on a smooth background of liquorice.
