In 1922, José María Toro Albalá, a modest farmer from Córdoba, began preserving aged wines. Over time, these casks revealed wines of exceptional quality. Thus began the story of Toro de Albalá, where Toro Albalá Poley Oloroso en Rama Solera 15 Años is crafted. Although this winery in the D.O. Montilla-Moriles is renowned for its sweet wines, Toro Albalá Poley Oloroso en Rama Solera 15 Años is part of a range of aged wines en rama that stand out equally. Made entirely from Pedro Ximénez, this oloroso is the purest expression of this variety. Reaching this point has taken years of hard work and dedication for this winery, which always employs meticulous selections and very careful crafting. Currently, this responsibility lies with Antonio Sánchez, nephew of the founder José María Toro Albalá, the latest generation and the visible head of this century-old enterprise founded in 1922.
