Tres Generaciones Tequila Añejo is a tequila of clear amber hue, luminous and serene, that reveals a broad and enveloping aroma, where toasted oak embraces cooked agave and gives way to notes of vanilla, caramel, and a delicate floral undertone, with hints of fresh guava and ripe citrus. On the palate, it is smooth and well-structured, with a slightly sweet entry reminiscent of piloncillo (panela) and cinnamon, followed by tropical fruit, honey, and a subtle echo of chocolate. The wood is elegantly integrated, adding depth without overpowering, while the finish extends warmly, with a touch of lime and a gentle spicy caress that makes it as complex as it is easy to enjoy.

About Tres Generaciones Tequila Añejo

There are spirits born from a recipe and others from a lifetime of perseverance. Tres Generaciones is not merely the name of a tequila; it is a tribute to three men—three Dons—who, over a century, shaped the identity of tequila as we know it today. It all began in 1873, when Don Cenobio Sauza bet on himself and founded La Perseverancia, a distillery whose name already hinted that something more than alcohol was being distilled here.
 
Casa Sauza is synonymous with legacy, character, and vision. Don Cenobio was a pioneer in advocating the exclusive use of blue agave and in taking tequila beyond the borders of Mexico. His son, Don Eladio, turned tequila into a symbol of national pride during turbulent times, integrating it into the cultural and social life of the country. And it was Don Francisco Javier who completed the circle, securing the Denomination of Origin, taking tequila to the international stage, and finally positioning it among the world's great spirits.
 
Tres Generaciones Tequila Añejo is the liquid expression of that heritage. Crafted from blue agave and subjected to a meticulous triple distillation process, it achieves an exceptional smoothness that surprises even the most sceptical. Its aging for a minimum of 12 months in American white oak barrels imparts an elegant amber hue and slightly smoky nuances, with a polished, rounded, and deeply balanced texture.
 
This is a tequila meant to be savoured leisurely, in a short glass and with long conversation. Ideal for those seeking the complexity of a fine whisky, but with the sunshine of Jalisco in the background.
