Vermouth.

This white vermouth boasts a pale yellow hue with golden highlights, hinting at its elegance. On the nose, it unveils a remarkable intensity, blending wild herbs, expressive fruit, delicate spices, citrus peel, and the finest aniseed notes that elevate it. On the palate, it is pure freshness: pronounced acidity, prominent fruit presence, a delightful complexity, and a subtle saline touch that adds character. The citrus peel and aniseed reappear, perfectly harmonized with the spices, while the well-crafted bitter sensations balance the composition.

When one thinks of vermouth hour, the mind conjures images of weekends, sunshine, and friends… those unique moments that deserve the finest glass. And if it is a vermouth that honours the wine, the experience becomes unforgettable.

The brand Marnuthem was born in Bell-lloc d’Urgell, a picturesque village in the Pla d’Urgell region, located in the province of Lleida (Catalonia), at 196 metres above sea level, on the western edge of the plain. This is their introduction, and they seek to earn the trust of those who appreciate a meticulously crafted and authentic product.

“Marnuthem” signifies marriage; the perfect union between wine and botanicals, between acidity and sweetness. It embodies the respect for elements and the harmony between each ingredient and the wine that supports it. This is exemplified in Vermut Marnuthem Blanc, acclaimed as the best semi-dry in the World Vermouth Awards 2023.

Its production blends tradition with care. Initially, the botanicals are macerated in alcohol for 1 to 3 months, then combined with wine made from the macabeo grape variety and sugar. Finally, a 2-month integration period allows the sugars to meld with the wine and botanicals, resulting in a balanced, complex vermouth, ready to be savoured.
